The Tradition of Winemaking Continues
Colorado Springs, Colo. (Vocus) October 14, 2009 -- Attention fellow foodies and wine fans! Join Summit (http://www.broadmoor.com/summit.php) restaurant at The Broadmoor on Monday, December 14th for a private wine dinner to celebrate the continuation of the Mondavi Legacy.
Dinner includes four courses paired to wines with Carlo Mondavi as he presents the continuation of the Mondavi history with Continuum (http://www.continuumestate.com/pages/vision.html), a small production, beautiful red blend from Napa Valley. This Cabernet/Cabernet Franc/Petite Verdot blend was created by Tim Mondavi (former head winemaker at Opus One and Robert Mondavi), with the assistance of his father Robert Mondavi and his son Carlo Mondavi. During the dinner, wines from Grigich Hills and Royal Tokaji will also be sampled.
Cost for the dinner is $150.00 per person and includes the welcome reception and wine pairings. To make reservations, please call Summit restaurant at 719.577.5896. The evening begins with a reception at 6:00 p.m. Dinner to follow at 7:00 p.m.
