JEM Steakhouse Honored with Wine Spectator Award
Coachella, CA (PRWEB) September 28, 2009 -- JEM Steakhouse has earned a prestigious 2009 Restaurant Wine List Award given by Wine Spectator, it was announced by Wine Spectator Magazine.
The upscale steakhouse located in Spotlight 29 Casino features a wine list of over 300 fine wines showcasing mainly regions in California. The menu includes such wines as Opus One, Bryant Family, Grgich Hills, Stags Leap, Trefethen and Joseph Phelps.
"We are thrilled for this recognition," said Robert Paull, General Manager of Spotlight 29 Casino. "JEM is well known for its incredible menu and now it will be known for its outstanding wine list as well. All of our wines are carefully selected to give each patron an amazing dining experience with delicious food and a perfectly paired wine."
Wine Spectator's Restaurant Wine List Awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers. The winning restaurants wine lists offer a well-chosen selection of quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.
JEM Steakhouse features natural certified Angus beef as well as the freshest seafood. The beef, which is aged for 29 days, includes such choices as a 24 ounce Porterhouse and a 20 ounce Bone-in Rib Eye. Other entrees include Herb Parmesan Crusted Colorado Rack of Lamb and Seafood Pappardelle. JEM also offers whole live Maine Lobster, as well as grilled selections of Halibut, Salmon Shrimp and Scallops.
For a limited time, JEM is offering a Prix Fixe Dinner for only $35 per person (Thursday, Friday and Sunday nights). Diners have a choice from three appetizers, four entrees and two desserts.
JEM Steakhouse is open 5-10pm, Thursday-Saturday and 5-9pm on Sunday. Enjoy the wine list and special bar menu at the JEM Bar, open daily at 4pm, with Happy Hour specials from 4-6pm (except Saturday and show nights).
